Manor won the toss and chose to bat first. On a slow outfield the batters did really well to get to a score of 94. Eshaan, Avyaan and Hiyaan all batted really well building a partnership. Running between the wickets and finding the gaps put Stanmore under pressure in the field. Into the second innings, the start by Aniruth and Raghav was a gem to watch. Opening bowlers as a pair bowled exceptionally well taking 3 quick wickets. This put Stanmore under pressure pushing the game right to the last over. Top catches and fielding efforts from the team especially Hiyaan and Jiansh. With 3 wickets to win the game and 17 runs off the last 3 overs, it could have gone either way. Unfortunately, we came out on the losing side, but I cannot be much prouder of the boys and girls who played and the effort they put in, against a top side like Stanmore. Onto the next!
