Back-to-back wins! Another fantastic victory for the U10s today (14th June 2026) against Pinner!
We talked last week about sharpening up our quick singles, and the team put that feedback straight into action today. It was a brilliant, collective performance that shows how much this squad is growing and playing for each other.
Here is how the team secured today’s thrilling 8-run victory (270 vs 262):
- Disciplined Batting: Put into bat first, the entire lineup showed incredible maturity. The running between wickets was sharp and alert from the very first over, and by defending well and valuing their wickets, the team only gave away 2 wickets across the entire 15 overs!
- Clinical Bowling: The bowling attack was exceptionally precise, conceding a remarkable 2 wides only the entire innings. The team built intense pressure right from the start and sustained it through the middle overs, taking 7 wickets in quick clusters to derail the chase.
- Fearless Fielding & Keeping: The fielding and wicketkeeping units were top-tier under pressure. The team showed great game awareness to create sharp chances and threw themselves into stops to save crucial boundaries late in the game. It was a proper, gritty effort to defend those final overs, and we hope any bumps or bruises sustained in the field heal up quickly!
A massive thank you to all the parents and to our assistant coach Priya for all the heavy lifting behind the scenes today - from getting the chairs out, setting up the boundary cones, handling the scoring table, to managing the tablet scoring. We literally couldn’t run these match days without your fantastic support. Total team effort on and off the pitch!
